At present (Spring version 0.64b1) the only working AI is JCAI, which is included in the Spring sourceforge CVS repository. It works but it's still very weak. Other AI's are in development.

Since version 0.65b2 NTAI ahs walked onto the scene. It is not included witht he sprign source code

There is a also Random_enemies script - which can be used for some basic testing.

Useful existing documentation on the Spring unit AI can be found here K-mans Spring AI documentation, however this is not related to global AI.

Alantai Firestar has a lot of theory on the topic at his site, and has released his NTAI project.

Triaxx had a topic about it 5 Matrix AI 1,2,3 and some stuff at AF's site.
