Getting Started on Windows

to get you're first game on Spring, you need to download at least one mod and one map.

Go to http://springfiles.com/files.php?subcategory_id=2&order=download_counter&sort_order=desc and download a map and save it to <Spring installation dir>\maps

Then download a mod and place it in <Spring installation dir>\maps.

Start the game trough the "Test Spring" Shortcut, select the map and mod you've downloaded and select an ai, KAIK for example.

Then click on "Test the Game" to play!

Have fun!
