Singleplayer?

There is a singleplayer tab but with a fresh install it will not work. (Game files and engine are missing)

Solution: Join a multiplayer game.

The lobby will download the nessecary files. Afterwards you can select the evolutionRTS game in singleplayer menu.

Automatic download of game files does not work

NOTE: the GAME file.

Best idea is to wait a bit, the lobby should eventually download it. If it really absolutely does not work: 1. Go to http://packages.springrts.com/builds/ 2. download the .sdz with the latest evolutionRTS version. (Currently that is 7.37 but check vs what is played in lobby) 3. Put the .sdz file into: Documents/My Games/Spring/games Do not unzip it, just move it there.

As said, that is only for advanced users and should not be nessecary.

AI does not work!

The evolutionRTS AI is the "Survial Spawner AI." It spawns random enemies for you to shot at.

The NullAI bot can also be used: It does nothing which is nice to try out the game without enemies.

ALL OTHER AI BOTS DO NOT WORK! (they are meant for different spring games)

Sandbox mode? I want to try the game without being rushed!

Start a singleplayer game against the NullAI bot.

Missions?

Not there yet.

It crashed!

There is a logfile: Infolog.txt

Which maps should I play?

Eye of Horus is a good map that works for team games, free-for-all, 1v1 and with bots.

Why so many problems?

Surprised by too many players.

Press the RETURN key and type your message.
