Construction Units

Note: This details construction units for XTA. If you were looking for the AA unit list, I suggest you head here.

Overview

Construction units in XTA do the obvious: they construct things. They can also reclaim things (mostly features) for resources, and repair things. There are 2 levels of construction unit, a well as two special ones (One each for Arm and Core). There are vehicular, kbot, airplane, seaplane, hovercraft, and naval construction units. Also, to make production faster, multiple units can construct a single thing at a time. Constructions unnits can help eachother make buildings, or factories to make other units.
As a general rule:
Mobility: Aircraft>Kbot>Vehicle
Nanolathing (build) Speed: Vehicle>Kbot>Aircraft

As naval is special (water, not land), it wasn't included above. However, it actually has a faster build speed than every other standard hovercraft. Also, you can build a construction seaplane and construction hovercraft. They are basically level 2 units that build level 1 structures.

Special Construction Units

There are two special construction KBots in XTA. Arm has the FARK (Fast Assist-Repair KBot), while Core has the Necro Rez KBot. The FARK has the fastest nanolathe speed in the mod, at 860. Although it can build little on its own, it is the fastest moving construction unit, and it also gets built quickly. The Necro still has a very fast nanolathe speed (720), but takes longer to build and moves less quickly. However, this is offset by 2 advantages: It is both cheaper, and it can revive destroyed units and structures. This is much cheaper than building another, and is also quicker.

A note on build time

You may notice that build times are extremely high. That is because that is not the build time, but build power necessary to construct that unit/structure. To find the actual time (in seconds), do the simple equation:
time(seconds)=Buildpower necessary/Nanolathe Speed of all units constructing

This means that if you were to build a structure with a buildtime of 1000 with a level 1 vehicle (Nanolathe:100), it will take 10 seconds to build. (10=1000/100)
