As all Spring-based games don't have their own installer, the engine installer can also be used by players to play other games.
This installer provides the core files for Spring, the  multiplayer lobby client and the autodownloader. Use the autodownloader to get maps and games, or download them from some hosting sites (listed in the lobby #main channel).
