==Starting a Test or Single-Player Game==
Windows:

There is no real "Single Player Mode" but in the current version you can execute the "spring.exe" included in the install directory (or use the "Test Spring" shortcut in the Start Menu on windows). This will bring up a list of "Games", pick one. Next Choose a GlobalAI Test for the AI you want to fight (Some AIs may just sit there and do nothing with some or all Games) or "Random Enemies" (which will throw random enemies at you, but might not work with all Games). Then choose a map and get started.

The more reliable way to start a single player game is to start a passworded or locked game on the server and add AI "bots" to the match instead of human players. See: [[#Hosting Games| Hosting Games]]
