CZTA Universe (AKA the plot)

Psychasi
A mix of humans from an abandoned GHE colony and alien refugees from several races (fleeing from the Tessarin Army no less) that have been recently discovered when the GHE expanded to find resources. The Psychasi are known to be to have sympathies towards the CRU and their cause, and are quite effective fighters against the Tessarin because of the alien refugees' experiences.

Galactic Human Empire
The Galactic Human Empire is on the verge of collapse. Hard pressed to keep the Tessarin at bay the GHE Goverment was forced to introduce conscription. With most of their resources expent on the war the ordinary people are running out of food. After making the stark discovery that the fertile Western sector has already been claimed by the Psychasi the GHE has no way of gathering large scale resources. Now some have started up a resistance movement known as the CRU (Civilian Rights Union) and they are rapidly gaining support, including that of the Psychasi. What neither the CRU or Psychasi know is that if the Galactic Human Empire does collapse, the Tessarin will be fully able to bring in their most deadly weapon... Humanity's survival hangs on a thread, and humanity itself isn't helping.

Tessarin
Another alien race. They move from planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy, consuming all the resources as they go. Now they've come for us. Early on in the GHE - Tessarin war GHE spies discovered the Tessarin's most deadly weapon. They stole plans for this device and using these plans, the GHE was able to construct a "Disruption Field" that overloads anything using The Weapon's energy signature. Once this Field is disabled the Tessarin will be able to enslave this Galaxy, suck it dry and move on.

CRU (Civilian Rights Union)
The GHE - Tessarin war has sucked the Galactic Human Empire dry of almost all resources. With no other options now that the fertile uninhabited western sector has proved itself quite inhabited (The Psychasi) the GHE Government has been forced to pull all remaining resources into the war effort. The citizen of the Empire are now faced with a stark preposition: join the Army or die of starvation. Understandably, some have resisted; banding together against the failing old system. They are the Civilian Rights Union.
The CRU are all too aware of the Tessarin's strength, most of them having has some experience in the Army. With the Psychasi on their side however, they believe they can defeat the Tessarin. They know this Galaxy is taken. Their plan is to retreat from the galaxy as refugees and tag along with other races fighting the Tessarin. The Resistance must previal!

The Epic mod sadly is still being made, goto the [http://taspring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=14 mods] forum to check out how its progressing.

Note by Guessmyname (one of the modellers): We have loads of models, but we're waiting for the new model format (unless you really want to have pink Leman Russ tanks). The above Baneblade was made by Benito, and as you may have noticed, is having a bit of trouble aiming properly because Spring calls the Aiming scripts near-constantly instead of once like in normal TA. - EDIT: This was fixed a while ago by the way (GMN again)

This mod is meant to go with zwszg's upcoming conversion of WTA into Spring (Space Marines and Eldar). We will add the Imperial Guard and the Tau, and probably the Chaos Space Marines and Necrons. Tyranids, Mutants (Lost and the Damned) and Orks, being very organic and that will probably have to wait for the new unit format if there is one.
